Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher
Japanese proverb
Specialized Teaching
Every child is special and unique. I craft a bespoke one to one teaching program to meet individual needs for Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and ADD/ADHD. Students learn differently, so I take time to understand a student’s needs and create a fun and engaging program for them. This differentiation ensures that I am getting the best from the student and supporting their growth in confidence and abilities.
Younger students
I teach using multi-sensory learning. I make valuable lessons feel like playing a game. Some students have high energy levels which I match to ensure they are always engaged.
Older students
I transform the standard curriculum into one they can relate to. I help them find an understanding of why learning is important and how it benefits them in real world situations.
Students and their families
I become more than just a teacher, I become a friend. I do this by getting to know my students and understand what they enjoy in and out of school.
At home
All kids deserve an education. I have worked with many families over the years whose child could not attend school all day or too unwell to attend at all. I can create and differentiate a whole school curriculum to suit the individual child’s needs and ensure they are able to achieve their educational goals.
I live in Le Chable, Valais Canton, Switzerland. The at-home service is a great option for busy parents, no travel needed, I can come to you.
Online specialist teaching
Typically lessons are conducted through Zoom, but I am flexible with this.
Now, more than ever, distance learning is invaluable to many families and students. I can tailor personalized, interactive and engaging lessons for online learning depending on the student's individual needs.
